Those wishing to be involved are encouraged to upload their contributions to social media and content sites YouTube and Flickr and tag them with #BeyonceBestThing before 12th August.
The singer will then choose her favourites for use in the alternative video, which will be a companion piece to the one that has already been filmed, in which Beyoncé played a bride-to-be wearing lingerie before appearing in a stunning traditional wedding gown.
Details of the singers’ wedding to music producer and performer Jay-Z were kept top secret, but the bridal themed video provides fans with some idea of Beyoncé might have looked on her big day.
