Hair Tips for Kardashian Wedding

There has been much talk about the preparations for Kim Kardashian’s upcoming wedding to Kris Humphries, and now a famous New York stylist has suggested how the bride-to-be should wear her hair on the special day.

Stylist Alma G. of the Alma Salon in New York City, who boasts clients such as Alicia Witt, Rosario Dawson, Steven Tyler, Ashton Kutcher, and Keri Russell, commented:

“I think Kim would look great with a flamenco dancer-inspired updo,” Alma tells Wetpaint exclusively. “Looking chic at last year’s Emmy Awards, her updo enhances her beauty, dress, and accessories by boasting her features. It is actually a look that is great for all hair types. The hair is blown out for a smooth start. You don’t want a middle part — too dramatic. A side part will soften her look.”

She added: “Or another option is to pull the hair straight back. The secret is to tease the ponytail, and then roll it up into a chic chignon or bun. You want fullness in the bun so it shows on both sides of your neck. Your finish is important: brush the top layer of the bun for a smooth sleek look. A beautiful diamond earring or beautiful hair accessory will also be a great addition for her overall hairstyle.”
